What People Are Saying About Us
The members of Oak Hammock at U of F, visited the High Springs Museum where we were greeted with friendly and knowledgeable volunteers who lead us around the well exhibited rooms featuring historic memorabilia. The running train models were a big hit with our group. We relived precious memories of our childhood toys as well as our exciting train rides as adults. Your city was so wise to preserve and feature the history of railroading for the present and future generations. On our way back to Gainesville, several people said there would be many more visits to your fair city due to the wonderful time we had. All of this was made possible by the members of the High Springs Museum.

Fun outing to see model railroad trains and authentic 1924 fire engine. Friendly volunteers to show you around! Easy to find, plenty to see, and free admission! Make a donation- it's always a kind gesture.

When I take my Grandson here it is impossible to get him to leave. He loves the trains and the old fire truck.
